Halloween at Heritage

Every year at my work they have a Halloween Carnival. They decorate the entire place really awesome and have all sorts of games, dinner, and trick or treating. We go every year since half the family works there. Land loves being with Hyrum and Lucy. It's so good for them to make fun memories like this together...

GARDNER VILLAGE...

This year some friends of mine and I decided to take a trip to Gardner Village. It was decorated cute with all sorts of Halloween decor. I LOVED it! I love Haloween more that Christmas, it's my favorite holiday. I could have bought everything there! Unfortunatly, I'm not rich... Both of my friends have babes that were born within a month of Sky. Here's a pic of all of us...

Here's the cute babes, Max, Paisley & Skylee! They were so stinkin cute! Landon was such a trooper to come and hang out with me and was so patient while we snapped pics in every cool spot there. (There were alot!) He was excited about all the cool Haloween stuff too. There were witches everywhere!

I took a ton of awesome, cute pics of my kids and of the babes but... towards the end, my iPhone decided to crash! I lost all of my pics and everything on my phone! So, Thanks Lacie for letting me steal some pics off your blog!

Pretty sad that I am completely lost without my phone! Everything was on it! I took it to the Verizon store and they just ordered me a new one. It will take 5 days to get here!! My dad let me borrow a phone so I wouldn't completely loose all contact! I came home the other night and tried to turn my iPhone on again, and it turned on! I was so excited! So, instead of saving all my pic and other info like I should have, I tried to reactivate it. Then there was no sound! :( So as I was switching it back, I accidently switched Brett's number to the phone my dad let me borrow! Brett was at work so he didn't even know what I had done! I felt so bad! The verizon people said they couldn't help me because my name wasn't on the account! I was bad! He is smart and figured it out though! Anyway, I AM LOST WITHOUT MY IPHONE!!

Justin and Kalyn welcomed to the world this precious little girl Sept 23, 2011. Avery Morgan Laycock, at 6:52 pm, weighing in at 6 lbs 14 oz and 19 inches long!

Skylee was so excited when we put her next to Avery, she must have known her in heaven!

We took a trip down to Panguitch the Sunday after Avery was born. Justin and Kalyn were so nice to let us in their home to hold their sweet baby girl! We loved seeing them! This little girl is SO sweet! We had a good time riding down there to visit! Well worth the trip! Justin was so good to Landon the whole time we were there. Land couldn't stop talking about Justin for days! He is going to be such an amazing dad! Land even lost his second tooth while we were there. Grandpa pulled it for him once again! Such a fun trip! So glad Avery is part of our family!

It's hard to believe she is 6 months already, yet it feels like she has always been part of our family. She is so sweet and loves to talk, play with her brother, snuggle with daddy, and play dress up with mommy. She loves being big and eating solid foods, loves her binky and loves singing along to music. I need to put her in the shrinking machine, she's growing so fast! We love our little peanut!!

Cam Bam's mission call

My cute little brother got his mission call!! He is going to the Cleveland, Ohio mission! When he got his call he waited till the evening so that almost all of us could be there. Grandma Glenda, Grandpa Laycock, Mom, Dad, Myself and the kids were there. Plus, a TON of Cams friends came. It is so good to see all his buddies support each other. I had Just and Kalyn on skype as well so that they could see and hear everything! Morgy couldn't make it cause of cheer, but we texted her. We are all SO proud of Cam and know he is going to make an amazing missionary!

Flag Football

Land Man is playing flag football this year. He is loving it and really getting into it. It is so fun to see him develop each game and get better and better and really dig into the game. Land thinks he is so intimidating on the line... LOL! He lines up and then starts doing these ninja like moves to the guy he's lined up against on the other team, occasionally they do it back. It's hilarious! Land is also that kid who's doing a celebration dance after every touch down. He's quite the kid...

The Garrett side of the family had a party to celebrate the birthdays in August. We had it at a splash park in Alpine. The kids had a blast playing together both in and out of the water. Dinosaur Museum

We decided to take the kids to the dinosaur museum the other day. Since a lot of other kids had started school already, we were hoping it wouldn't be as busy. We were wrong...

Regaurdless, we had a blast. Landon loves dinosaurs. Sky slept through most of it, which by me was perfect. We saw all the dinosaurs, played in the sand and pretended to dig up dino bones. After we even went and saw a movie about T-rex in 3-D on the IMAX screeen. It was cool. Turned out to be a pretty fun day.

First tooth lost!!

My sweet baby boy lost his first tooth! So we were at my parents house the other day and Landon came out of the bathroom and said he had a wiggley tooth. So, Brett felt it and sure enough it was pretty loose. My tough little boy then proceeded to ask my dad if he had some string to pull out his tooth. I thought the sweet little guy would just have a hole in his smile for a while but, as my dad was putting the dental floss around the tooth to pull it, we noticed the other tooth was already coming in!! HE JUST TURNED 5, for crying out loud! Isn't this a little early?? Anyway Landon put his shiny, cavity free tooth under his pillow that night and the tooth fairy brought him 2 whole dollars! Landon was pretty excited! What did he do with his 2 dollars?? Check this little guy out...

Yes, we have Captain America living in our house, protecting Skylee and I from all the bad guys when Brett is gone! :)

We love her and are so happy she is part of our family!

Steel Days

Steel Days was alot of fun this year! Grandma Laurie gave Landon some carnival tickets, so Thursday we headed to the carnival. Landon and Brett went on the farris wheel first, then Land went on this fun little roller coaster...

then, we went on a few more rides and it started to down pour! Seriously, I didn't even have a blanket for Sky! So Skylee and I stood under this big umbrella at one of the game stands while Brett and Land went to get the car. By the time we got in the car it looked like we went through the shower with our clothes on! We were drenched! Brett and I did not think it was that amusing, but Land splished and splashed and giggled...He loved it! Sky ended up being the only one dry because Brett found her a blanket in the car!

I worked Thurs and Fri. Then on Sat morn when I got off work, Land woke up and ran the kids race! He did SO good and even got a medal! He kept telling me that he wanted to do it again! Morg also ran, but she ran the 5K. She took 3rd and got an awesome trophy!

Then off to the parade we went, where we were lucky enough to see both of Bretts little brothers and Grandpa Steve participating in! Then I went home and crashed I was so tired from working the night before. Next, after a refreshing nap, we got ready and went to Grandma Glendas annual firework party! Landon loved seeing all the cousins and playing with them! Skylee loved hanging out with Grandma Sharon, as you can tell from this pic!

4th of July

This 4th of July we started out by heading to the parade in Provo for the Freedom Festival.

This guy was Landons favorite part! Land is obsessed with Scooby Doo right now! In fact, most days he is Scooby Doo, not Landon and all our food he makes sure has Scooby snacks in it!

Then that evening, we headed to Bretts parents house to have a little party for my sweet hubby's 30th birthday! We had a delicious steak dinner, fabulous cupcakes and then watched some pretty awesome fireworks!

Outdoor Movie

Brett was at work and I was itching to get out of the house during Lehi Round Up week, so I decided I would take the kids to the Movie in the Park. When we got there, there were all sorts of fun activities and blow up toys. Land LOVED it! So I just let him do whatever he wanted, while I followed him with Sky sleeping in my arms. By the end of the night, both kids were asleep and it was an adventure getting us all back to the car! So glad I decided to take the kids, it was fun!

Sky's Nursery

Skylee's Nursery turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself... I always thought that when I had a girl I would do pink everything. (If anyone knows me they would know I am obsessed with pink) Anyway this room was already painted red, then I found this cute bedding and had to have it! So it's not what I expected to have, but I absolutly LOVE it and it flows with the rest of my little house!

Landon got his tonsils out!

Landon got his tonsils out in the end of May! He had what were called "kissing" tonsils, which means they were so huge that they touched in back!

Land got a really bad cough a couple days before, and I didn't think that they would go ahead with the sugery because he was coughing so hard, but they did and here he is right before surgery!

Not nervous or anything...

They let him take his "snugglers" and "Gigi" back with him to the OR.

He made it through like a champ and not long after was playing elephant with his oxygen tubing!

He did alot better then I even expected! We had a few rough days, but as long as we kept pain meds on board we did ok.

A couple weeks before surgery they had a program called Pre Op Hop. It was to get the kids used to the hospital and equipment. Landon thought it was pretty cool and even got these souvineers to take home! (he looks like a little cancer patient!) He was too cute!

Yes, its been a while! A lot has happened since I last blogged. Mainly the new addition to our family. It was quite the adventure getting her here however. The second week in February my OB put me on bed rest. Since the babe wasn't due until the 25th of March, I thought it was the end of the world! It is not that easy for me to just hang out and not be able to work. I was having high blood pressures and protein in my urine and swelling (all signs of preeclampsia which I had with Landon also). So for the whole month of February and into March I had a doctors appt. once a week, had the baby monitored twice a week in Labor and Delivery, plus nasty labs every time it got worse. I'm sure the ladies in Labor and Delivery were sick of me! Although they were all very wonderful and sweet every time we went in. First, my doc said he thought we'd be having a Feb baby, then every week when we went in it was, "lets try and make it one more week". I completely understand his reasoning and am thankful for his expertise. But I was ready to have this babe! On a side note all the bed rest gave me great study time and I FINALLY took my RN nclex and....PASSED! (no wonder my BP was high).

We finally made it to 38 weeks and scheduled a C-Section. I had to have a C-section because I have funny shaped hips, and can't fit a baby through them. I was so happy to have a date that she'd be here! March 14, we went in at 6 am and our sweet little girl, Skylee Marie Fraser was here at 7:51 am. She weighed 6lbs 12oz and was 17.5 inches long. She is the prettiest baby girl I've ever seen! (not biased or anything)

She already has Brett wrapped around her little finger. He is such a wonderful daddy and husband, he was by my side the entire journey. I couldn't have made it without him!

Beautiful Skylee

Our first week home was a little rough. Sky had to be on a bili bed because of her jaundice. She had to lay the bed at all times except to eat and be changed. It was awful not being able to hold her! Then after 4 days we finally got to be done with that. I ended up in the ER with severe anemia. My hematocrit was half of what it should be, which was causing me to be really pale, weak, have palpitations, and shortness of breath. It was a real treat, glad it was only that though.

All in all we are now doing really well. Brett just went back last Saturday, and I am off till the 27. We are all really glad Sky is here and grateful she is part of our family. Life could not be better!

They had this cool frog pond we went and caught frogs in. It was SO fun!

We had the opportunity to go camping with my parents on their property at Big Horn Ranch. It was a BLAST! I love going camping. When we got there we rode the 4 wheeler down to my parents spot, that they are still working on getting ready for camping and parking their trailer there. It's a really cool spot! I can't wait till it's finished. My parents have already put so much time and hard work into it. You should see some of the other camp spots that people have there, they are AMAZING! Then we fixed some yummy tinfoil dinners. Next my cute hubby and I took a little 4 wheeler ride. Then we went to bed in my parents fabulous new trailer or as Landon calls it, "mamma's new house". We woke up had a fabulous breakfast and rode the 4 wheelers down to the frog pond. There were SO many frogs, it was unbelievable. It was really fun catching them. We caught about 15 and my parents let them go in their pond out back. It was such a fun camping trip and a much needed mini break. Thanks Mom and Dad for having us!

So after we went out to dinner on Bretts birthday we decided to go to Bretts parents house and do some fireworks since I had to work the whole 4th of July weekend. It was fun, our family on Bretts side is always so fun to hang out with. Anyway, it made me feel alot better about misssing the 4th of July and Stadium of Fire with the rest of my family! Happy Birthday Landon!

My baby is 4 years old! We had Landons birthday at the park with our parents, Bretts sister and her cute family and Bretts brothers. It was a pretty laid back little party but it was fun and I think Landon enjoyed himself. He really enjoyed playing on the play ground with his uncles and 2 cute cousins. My mom came a little later and gave him the cutest present. She had a cowboy outfit made for him! HE LOVES IT! My camera died before my mom came or else I would have taken pictures of it. He got a lot a great, fun presents. He is one loved boy. We were sad that my sister couldn't make it because she was working and Cam was at football camp! We also missed Justin and Kalyn! Can't wait till they move back after the summer is over! They sent him an awesome coloring book with all sorts of cool forest animals in it. Land loves to tell me about all the animals in the book. They also sent him a cool flashlight from the forest service! It was a fun llittle party! During the day before the party, I had class so Brett took Landon to see Toy Story 3 in IMAX, Land loved it! It was a great day! I can't beleive Landon is 4 already though! Sure love you Landon!!

The Pony Express

It was the Anniversary of the Pony Express and they ride across the US on horse back to commemorate it. They stopped in Lehi this year, so we thought it would be fun to go and watch. We were only there a few minutes. The rider came in, they put the mail bag on a fresh horse with a new rider and then off they went. It was still cool to watch though.

Bretts Black Eye

So I got a call from Brett the other morning, as Landon and I were getting ready for church he told me that he had been hit in the eye and was headed to the emergency room. I was half delirious from workin the night before and told him to stop kidding around. He told me he was serious. So of course being the paranoid wife that I am, I called my dad and asked him if he could take Landon and headed over to meet Brett at the ER. When I got there his partner was with him and they were just about to numb him up for stitches. He ended up getting 7 stitches above his eye and a nasty black eye. So how did this happen? Ha ha ha, Brett would like me to say that he was saving a child from a huge house fire and he was the hero of the day but....He was replacing oxygen tanks and grabbed one to lift it by the safety cap on top and, POP it came off and hit him square in the eye. He wanted to just go back to work after the ER, but Captain Rob sent him home because his SCBA wouldn't fit due to his eye being so swollen. He was mad! He'll probably be mad that I posted this, but I want to remember it! Love you Brett!

We took Landon to the Heber Valley Railroad agian this year to see and ride on Thomas the Train. It's always a fun little adventure and it's the last time that Thomas is visiting Utah for a few years, so we thought we'd better take advantage of it. Just a Little Venting...

Sometimes life just makes me wanna SCREAM!! All of my life I have wanted to be a RN. So why can't I just do it already?? Well.. I love being a nurse but the whole point of nursing school was to get my RN, not just my LPN. That wasn't ever part of the plan. But it's harder than you think, I know that I could do it if all I had to do was just sit home and study my guts out. I just want so bad to be a good wife and a good mommy. But it's something that is a constant struggle. I would love to be the wife that could wake up in the morning and do some laundry and vacuum the house all before the Land even woke up. Instead, I'm zombie mommy/wife most of the time. Working full time nights are really kicking my butt. I've been trying so hard to wake up with my boys and help get Landon off to preschool and then go to the gym with Bretto. But, getting up at 9 am after working till 6 in the morning is just not doing it for me. It makes me feel like I've just been hit by a train or something. It really is my own fault. Bretto is so good about letting me know that it's ok to get some normal sleep. But it really is SO hard to sleep when you know that Brett is getting Landon all ready for preschool, taking him there, hitting the gym, picking Land up, and doing a whole bunch of house work while I just lie there and sleep. It makes me feel HORRIBLE! Useless really. I try and get in a few hours of studying in while I'm at work but the only thing that does is make me incredibly tired. I try and study while I'm at home with Land, and that makes me feel like I'm neglecting him. Oh and studying while Brett is home is even harder! I know he only works for 48 hrs and then has 96 off..but I work some of those days and I just wanna spend time with the guy, believe it or not. AHHHHH! My whole entire life is like on freeze until I get this beast done. I just need to buck up and deal. I know it will be like a thousand pounds lifted off my shoulders, but it's hard gaining that strength to get it off. I know Brett and Land will still be there and are not going anywhere, but it's hard, I don't wanna miss a thing!

Ice Skating

So we started Landon in ice skating lessons. It has been really fun and he's actually doing quite well. Anyway to get him excited about it and to ensure he knew the reason for ice skating lessons was so he could play hockey and not be an ice dancer, we took him to a few Utah Grizzlies games. It was really fun! We sat right up against the glass. I had never acually even been to a hockey game, and I really liked it! I would do it again for sure. Landon thought it was pretty cool too! He's been to ice skating lessons twice now and is really liking it! I wanted to put up some pics from ice skating lesson too, but... I couldn't figure out how to transfer them! Darn technology!

So it has been a really long time since I posted anything! Sorry! I am a blog slacker! Anyway, I think I have now posted every detail of our lives since October... so ENJOY!

It has been another good year, but once again it is SO good to have it behind us! This past year our little family has grown in so many ways.

Landon turned 3, started preschool, which he loves, went to Disneyland for his first time, and played hard all day every day.

Brett FINALLY after a lot of hard work got on full time with the Lehi Fire Department. He absolutly loves it. It occupies alot of his time. He is so passionate about it. I am grateful he loves his job!

I FINALLY finished nursing school, and am enjoying playing with my boys. (although I need to get my butt in gear and take boards still.) It's a new year though! I have so many goals for this year! I am excited to get cracking on them!

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was so fun! Santa was good to us this year, and brought us all what we wanted! It was so fun just being able to watch Landon open his presents from Santa this year! We took our time and played, then opened some presents, then played some more. We eventually dragged Landon away from his presents and went to Grandma Garretts house, where we opened presents from Bretts family. They were too good to us! Bretts mom basically does Christmas for her whole side of the family now that Grandma Garrett is getting older. She put alot of time and effort into making Christmas wonderful. WE LOVE YOU LAURIE! Then last but not least we headed over to my parents house for a third round! The presents they get us are always so thoughtful and fun! We have such wonderful families and we are so grateful that we could be so close to all our family for the Holidays. It truley is a blessing!

Every year all of Bretts side of the family go to hear the Tabernacle Choir and then to brunch at Little America on the Sunday before Chirstmas. It was fun this year. Brett and I sat with Landon, Lucy and Hyrum in the "quiet room" and let Justin and Lisa enjoy the choir for real. All the kids were so good! Land and Hy were leading the choir the whole time, meanwhile Lucy was passing out treats to them. Kept everyone happy! I have to say we had the cutest kids there! After that we did the annual stuffing oursleves till we wanted to barf at Little America. The kids even got to see Santa! All in all, it was worth getting dressed up for.

Christmas Time

I was so excited for Christmas this year, more excited than I ever even remember being. I started listening to Christmas music the day after Halloween. I don't know what made this year better than all the others, maybe just the fact that Landon is really starting to understand it all. Anyway Brett let me put up Christmas the very 1st week in December. He even put up the lights on the house for me and did an awesome job! Anyway I love Christmas!

So fall is my absolute favorite time of year. I love it all. The leaves, the pumpkins, the cool brisk air, football, Halloween. I truley love it all. (besides it's my birthday too!) So my cute husband decided like the week before my birthday that we were gonna go to Disneyland. So my cute momma, Landon, Brett and I spontaniously decided to drive to California, go to Disneyland for my birthday and drive back. We had it all planned out. We were going to get there in the evening, go to Midevil Times, go to Disneyland the next day, and drive back home the next. Needless to say it didn't quite work out that way... Our blazer overheated in Vegas, 6 hours and 600 dollars later, we were on our way to California. We missed Midevil Times, but it all worked out ok. We had a blast on my birthday, I got in free to Disneyland, and it was so fun being there with Bretto, Land and my mom.

The Jazz Bear

The Jazz Bear repelled off of the tower at the beginging of the game.

Brett had to cover the Mascot Bowl at the high school so he got us tickets to go. Landon loved it! They had Mascots from all around Utah and some NBA and NFL ones too. There were all sorts of things going on the whole time. I always love watching the cheerleaders, Landon loved the marching band, and we both loved being able to hang out with Brett while he worked. The place was packed! I didn't realize what a big event it was, it was fun though.

My sweet hubby and I have now been married for 4 years!! I just wanted to take a minute to say how thankful I am to have such a wonderful husband. He really is amazing! He is always helping me out if not doing the majority of the housework! I am so lucky to have a husband who provides for our family and loves what he does at the same time. Lehi had its first annual "Foam Days" on the 24th of July. The fire department got put in charge of it, so Brett got to be the guy who was spraying the foam. All the kids (and adults) loved it! Landon thought he was pretty cool trying to help Brett spray the foam. It turned out to be a real fun day!

We decided last minute to try and get tickets and go to Stadium of Fire, since Brett found out he didn't have to help cover the Lehi fireworks this year. We thought it was really fun. Landon was so excited and has a blast, until he realized how loud the fireworks were. Over all Stadium of Fire was fun. (afterward, not so much. Our car got towed!)

Fourth of July Parade

The Fourth of July Parade was so fun! We found the perfect spot to sit the day before. It was right by one of best friends, Heidi, and her family. We had plenty of room so we sat with my mom and dad and Justin, as well as Bretts parents. It was a really good parade! It was especially fun see Morgan with her UVU cheer squad, Kalyn marching with her pipe band and we also got to see both of Bretts little brother marching with the AF band. It was a fun morning.

My sweet husband turned 28 on the 1st of July! Landon and I started out the day by making his favorite thing for him for breakfast, biscuits and gravy. Then Brett had to go take a test for the fire department, which was lame cause it took 2 and 1/2 hours! But that night we went out to dinner with my family to Brett's favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse. He was a little nervous one of us would spill the beans and tell it was his birthday.(he didn't want to ride the saddle) Anyway Happy Birthday Brett! We Love You!

Landon had such a fun 3rd birthday! We let him choose anywhere that he wanted to go to lunch, and of course he chose McDonalds so that he could play, then he got to play with his favorite aunt, Morgan, while mom and dad finished a little shopping. Then to end the day we had a little party at the park. He had a Thomas pinata, ice cream cake, presents and all his family. It was such a good day!

We had so much fun taking Landon to Disneyland for his first time! Landon loved almost all of it. (He was afraid of the pirates on Pirates of the Carribean). We had a blast hitting all the hot spots along the way. We went to Knottsberry Farm, Universal Studios, the beach, Sea World and we even stopped in Vegas and took Land to the Kings Tournament. (He thinks he is a knight now.) We went with Bretts whole family. They are party animals! We were exhausted by the time we got home.

So I am finally finished with nursing school! I am so excited! I am excited to be able to be a real mom and wife again. I cannot believe that it is 2009 already. The year 2008 flew by so quickly. We had a good year, but also one that we will be glad to put behind us. This year is full of so many fun and exciting journeys for our little family. I am so excited for all the things that are to come this year. I will finally finish school in May. Landon will turn 3 in June. (my baby isn't a baby anymore. He's a little boy.) Brett will be 28 years old this year. We will celebrate our 4th anniversary. We will celebrate my 24th birthday. Brett will finish paramedic school in November. And we are hoping that he will get a full time position with the fire department this year, which is the ultimate goal. And we can't forget, we are so excited for Justin and Kalyn to begin their lives together later this month. We are so lucky that Justin is marrying such a wonderful, sweet person. She really is so perfect for Justin and we are excited to have her as part of our family. I know that they will make each other so happy.

Landon begged me all day to go out and play in the snow. Finally I gave in and let him play outside while we were waiting for Brett to come home from the fire station. He LOVED it! Whoo Hoo! So I finally finished my LPN portion of school! I am already 3 weeks into my RN portion now. It has really flown by, but... I will be SO grateful when I am finished. I have till May and then I will be finished with my RN. Thanks to Brett's parents and my parents for all you guys have done to help me get this far! It is so comforting to know that my baby boy is in good hands when I can't be there for him! Also I could never make it with out my sweet husband, Brett, he has been so supportive. It's been fun reviewing things together. He has been so kind and patient with me, even though he has as much on his plate, if not more than I do. You guys are the very best! Love you.

So if you haven't guessed it Landon is going to be a fireman for Halloween. When his costume came in the mail, I thought it would be fun for him to try it on... Turns out the kid wouldn't take it off once it was on. So after spending the day with "Firefighter Landon", I decided to hide the costume till Halloween. (even though it was really cute!)

After about three weeks of Landon being put in his bed and then ending up in ours in the middle of the night. He FINALLY did it. Landon has been sleeping in his fire truck bed all night! It is SO wonderful. I used to complain that sleeping in bed next to Brett was the most time I get to spend with him. Then all the sudden we had a sweet, snoring boy in between us. Granted one of us has to lay on the floor next to his bed till he falls asleep and if you get caught sneaking out he'll let you know how he feels about it. But I'll take it. It's been getting a little better each night. We are so proud of him!

So we decided that since Brett and I both had a day off together that we would call up Grandma Laurie and cousin Hyrum and go to the zoo. Of course wouldn't you know it by the time we made it up there it was raining cats and dogs. So we decided to go to Discovery Gateway instead. It ended up being SO fun. They had all sorts of activities for the boys to do there. Land and Hyrum absolutly had a blast and it entertained them the whole afternoon. On the way home since the boys were so good we even stopped at build a bear. By the time we got home we had two very tired little boys!

Being Greatful for the Crazy Busy Life.

Lately I feel like I barily have time to breath. Between school, work, being mommy and wife, I'm a little overwhelmed. I am just barily figuring out how to use "the blog". Thanks to working a night shift. I really kind of feel bad that I have to look at everyone's blogs in order to know what is going on in my family. I see Grandma Glenda more at work than I do anywhere else. Pretty Pathetic. My poor husband and I only get to sleep next to each other and that's all the time we spend with each other. I sometimes feel like Landon forgets that I'm his mommy and not his Grandmas. All I really want to do is be a mommy and be able to take Land to the park whenever I feel like it,and to be able to play outside all day with him, and to be able to go on as many wagon rides as he wants.
I get so caught up in all that I think I have going on, that I forget to stop and be greatful for the wonderful things that I do have going on in my life.
One of my good friends that I go to school with has 3 children, all of which have health problems, just got a new home because his old one was demolished because of black mold.
I am so greatful for the home that I live in and a family who are all in good health. I cannot imagine adding a sick family onto the platter. My family is wonderfully supportive of all that I am doing. I really am greatful for that. I have to remember, "This is only temporary."
